10 policemen and driver killed in Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada

Dantewada Maoist Attack: Eleven people, including 10 policemen, were killed in an IED blast triggered by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada. A civilian has also lost his life in the Dantewada Maoist attack. It was reportedly an IED attack on a vehicle carrying District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel near Aranpur in Dantewada district. According to initial reports, the IED was planted by Naxalites.

At least 10 police personnel and a civilian have lost their lives in the Dantewada Maoist attack. Further details have not been shared yet.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel condoled the death of 10 police personnel and a driver in Dantewada Maoist attack and said Naxals will not be spared. Bhupesh Baghel said, “We have such information. This is very sad. My condolences to the bereaved families. This fight is in its final stage. Naxalites will not be spared.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel about the Maoist attack in Dantewada, in which 10 District Reserve Guard personnel and a driver were killed.

Home Ministry officials have said that Amit Shah has assured all possible help to the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
