New Delhi: The Defense Ministry on Monday announced that the 12th edition of Defense Expo, India’s premier exhibition on Land, Naval and Homeland Security Systems, will be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The event will be held between October 18 and 22, 2022. The theme of this edition is ‘Path to Pride’ which invokes nationalist pride and encourages citizens to participate in nation building through the establishment of an efficient indigenous defense industry.
The five-day event will have three business days followed by two public days. Demonstration of equipment and skill sets of Armed Forces, DPSUs and Industry will be performed live in Sabarmati River Front on all five days through active participation and synchronized efforts at all levels, informed officials.
“DefExpo 2022 will be held in a three-venue format at the Helipad Exhibition Center in an area of 01+ lakh square meters; Inaugural program and seminar at Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Center and live demo at Sabarmati River Front,” read a statement by the Defense Ministry.
