Bhubaneswar: Sixteen researchers of Education ‘O’ Research ,SOA), a deemed university, featured here in the world ranking of the top two percent of scientists for 2022 published by Stanford University in the United States. This number was 13 last year and 11 in 2020.
Nine researchers from SOA have made it to the list for all three years. They are Dr Ashok Kumar Mohapatra, renowned Neurosurgeon and Vice Chancellor of SOA, Pradipta Kishore Das, Kulmani Parida, Lala Bihari Sukla, RNP Choudhary, Gautam Rath, Niharbala Devi, Manoj Kumar Nayak and Satya Ranjan Mishra.
Others on the 2022 list include Rajshri Das, Manohar Mishra and Sulagna Patnaik, who made it to the coveted list in 2021. Besides this, four other researchers – Rabindranath Padhi, Binod Kumar Sahu, Susangini Nayak and Deepti Prava Sahu – have been named. First time on this year’s list.
Congratulating the researchers for being included in the prestigious list, SOA Founder President Manoj Ranjan Nayak said that this would give a fillip to the research work being done by the institute.
Official sources said SOA has 16 research centers and 58 research laboratories, most of which are in line with national priorities.
