Beijing: 17 people were killed in a fire at a restaurant in the city on Wednesday changchun in northeastern China, officials said.
According to a social media post by the zone’s management committee, the fire was reported at around 12:40 pm in a hi-tech section of Changchun New Area Industrial Area.
The post said three other people who were injured were taken to hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire was being investigated.
