Ahmedabad: 173 new cases were reported in the city on Sunday covid Cases With 227 patients being discharged from hospitals, the active cases came down to 1,395. The city also recorded one active patient death.
Other cases include 60 Mehsanafrom 51 Vadodara City, 34 from Rajkot city, 30 from Gandhinagar, 23 from Surat city and 22 others from Vadodara. Of the 33 districts, two had zero active Covid cases.
In the last 24 hours, Gujarat Vaccination 1,197 persons for the first dose and 1,382 persons for the second. Overall, 5.43 crore were given the first dose of Kovid vaccine and 5.38 crore were given the second dose. The state gave booster doses to 7,604 senior citizens, taking the total to 51.15 lakh. The state also provided 64,045 booster doses to a population of 18-59, bringing the total to 67.88 lakh.
