There has been a continuous tension between India and China on the eastern borders for the last three years. To reduce this, the 18th round of Corps Commander level talks have taken place between the armies of the two countries. After about five months this conversation took place in Chushul Moldo. Earlier, there was a meeting between the two countries in December last. During the talks between the two countries, issues of disengagement along the Depsang Plains, Demchok and the border were raised by India.
