Palakkad (Kerala):

Forest officials said two leopard cubs were found on Sunday from a deserted house in Olavakkode area.

A forest official told PTI that the local people of the area noticed an adult leopard moving in and out of the house and informed the forest officials.

After this the forest officials went there and found two leopard cubs there.

The official said the cubs were taken to the district forest office where a veterinarian would examine them and explain the future course of action.

He said that if the mother of the cubs is found, they will be released in the forest and hence efforts are on to trace the adult leopard.
