The 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster color options are Vivid Black, Gunship Gray and Redline Red. The Nightster has three ride modes – Road, Rain and Sport. Each ride mode has a specific combination of engine braking, power, ABS and TCS settings. Rider can choose the mode as per his convenience.
The Revolution Max powertrain of the Nightster gets a textured metallic charcoal powder coat finish with a gloss black insert. The Sportster uses a Kranti Max 975T engine that churns out maximum power of 90 HP @ 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 95 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission with slip clutch and assist. Also, it gets 97mm bore x 66mm stroke respectively.
In terms of features, the Harley-Davidson Nightster gets a round 4.0-inch-diameter analog speedometer with an inset multi-function LCD display mounted on the handlebar riser. In addition, the Sportster gets Daymaker® LED headlamps and weighs 218 kg. Harley Nightster Sits on a 19-inch satin-black aluminum wheel up front and a 16-inch rear wheel.
The 41mm SHOWA® Dual Bending Valves at the front provide superior handling by keeping conventional forks tires in contact with the road surface. The rear suspension gets dual outboard emulsion-technology shock absorbers with coil springs and a threaded collar for pre-load adjustment. For the safety of the rider, the 2022 Nightster is equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS) and Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS).
The Harley-Davidson Nightster will soon go on sale in the US market, while the Sportster is likely to be launched in the Indian market as well. However, the American two-wheeler maker is yet to reveal the India launch timeline.
