2022 KTM RC 390 price and specs revealed, India launch soon – Times of India

KTM India has finally listed 2022 RC 390 On its official website, the specifications of the motorcycle as well as the price, indicate that a launch is imminent. The new-gen RC 390 is listed at a base price of Rs 3,13,922 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), which makes it around Rs 37,000 more expensive than the model that is scheduled to replace.
The biggest change in the outgoing model is the design, with a slightly controversial facelift in the 2022 RC 390, with a large LED headlamp placed inside the new front fairing, surrounded by LED DRL-cum-indicators on either side. The RC 390 also gets new fairings, bigger visors, new mirrors, a slightly more sculpted and larger 13.7-litre fuel tank, new split seats, as well as brand new sporty looking alloy wheels. The new RC 390 will be available in two paint schemes at launch – KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Electronic Orange.

2022 KTM RC 390 Built on a tubular split-trellis frame with a newly engineered bolt-on subframe. The bike is powered by the same 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine as before. It makes 43.5 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Suspension setup includes a 43mm WP Apex front fork with 120mm travel, a 10-step preload adjustable WP Apex monoshock at the rear with 150mm travel. The braking duties are taken care of by a 320mm front disc with radially mounted calipers and a 230mm rear disc with floating caliper.
The new-gen RC 390 has a ground clearance of 153 mm and weighs 172 kg. The seat is set at a height of 835 mm. Apart from this, the motorcycle also gets a TFT multi-function display like the 390 Duke with traction control, cornering ABS, quickshifter and Supermoto ABS. Note that KTM is yet to reveal the exact India launch date of the 2022 RC 390, however, we expect it to happen very soon as the new motorcycle has made it to the brand’s website.
