Chevy blazer The EV will be available in four trims – 1LT, 2LT, RS and SS. The 1LT, 2LT, and RS are front-wheel-drive models as standard, with Chevrolet claiming that the 1LT can go up to 397 kilometers on a single charge.
All-wheel drive is optional on the 2LT and RS variants, and Chevrolet claims that the 2LT goes up to a range of 471 km, depending on the size of the battery. The RS will also be available in a rear-wheel-drive configuration, and with the right battery and drivetrain, the company says the RS will be capable of traveling up to 514 kms.
General Motors still hasn’t revealed any details about the battery pack but will be offering three battery sizes. Chevrolet claims that when plugged into a DC fast-charger, the Blazer EV will be capable of charging up to 190 kW, adding a range of 125 kilometers in 10 minutes.

Chevrolet Blazer SS Chevy has become the first electric car to wear the SS (Super Sport) badge. The Electric Blazer SS produces 557 bhp of power and 878 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive will be offered as standard in the SS, and the company also claims that the EV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in under four seconds.
The electric Blazer SS also gets Brembo brake kit, and independent front and rear suspension. Chevy claims that the electric Blazer SS can go up to 466 km on a single charge.

Talking about the exterior design of the Blazer EV, it gets boomerang-shaped LED headlights at the front with short overhangs and low, wide stance.
The sportier SS gets more air intake and a bigger fake grille up front. The RS and SS variants get a full-width front light bar. The LT variant gets 19-inch wheels, while the RS variant gets 21-inch and the sportier SS gets 22-inch wheels.

Talking about the interiors, the car gets a large 17.7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Connected Car Tech, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The car also gets an 11-inch instrumental cluster which gives various details about the car. The cabin design is sleek and futuristic with turbine-like air vents, and the RS and SS get flat-bottom steering wheels, ambient lighting and red accents. The RS and SS trims also get heated and ventilated front seats.
Security
The Electric Blazer also gets advanced safety features like standard automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, front pedestrian detection and braking, and optional reverse automated braking and advanced park assist.
price ceiling
The 2LT and RS variants of the Blazer EV are expected to go on sale in the US next summer. Prices for the 2LT start at $47,595 (approximately Rs 38,04,123 at current exchange rates) and RS to $51,995 (approximately Rs 41,55,801 at current exchange rates). The sportier SS will cost $65,995 (approximately Rs 52,75,472 at current exchange rates).
The cheapest 1LT variant will be available at a starting price of $44,995 (approximately Rs 35,96,763 at current exchange rates).
Will it come to India?
Chevrolet Blazer EV has been revealed for the US markets, we can’t say anything at the moment but Chevrolet won’t be returning to India anytime soon.
