With 2,527 new coronavirus infections reported in a day, India’s active cases rose to 15,079, according to data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday. Also, the total number of Covid cases touched 4,30,54,952. The daily positivity rate is 0.56%.
The country also reported 33 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of Covid deaths to 5,22,149.
