Mumbai: Three people were killed and 15 injured when a bus collided with a truck and another vehicle. Mumbai Pune Express under khopoli Police station limits, an official said on Sunday.
He said the accident took place late on Saturday night when a truck rammed the bus, which rammed into another truck.
“As the identity of the driver of one of the trucks Jagdish Palli (50), and two others, Nitesh Kamble (28) and bablu sultan (28) died. Ten people on the bus and five others working on the road were injured.”
Khopoli police station official said that first a case of negligent death has been registered against the driver of the truck and other offenses like speeding, but no arrest has been made so far.
