On October 18, three people were killed and six were injured when seven vehicles collided on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. The accident took place at Khopoli on the expressway. According to the Highway Police, the incident took place at around 5.30 am where a truck carrying chicken was hit from behind and later collided with other vehicles. “Rescue agencies were immediately rushed to the spot for rescue operation and the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment,” police said.
