When it comes time to clean out a grill grate, keeping utensils looking brand new is a daunting task.

Who doesn’t love brinjal bharta, roasted papad or delicious homemade tomato sauce? A barbecue grill mesh is available in every Indian household to prepare these delicious dishes. We use it to sauté Indian cheese, tomatoes and capsicum, or make Indian flat breads on top of the stove.

But when it comes to cleaning the grill grate after a finger licking, keeping the pot looking brand new is a daunting task. Instead of spending a long time cleaning it, we are here to help you clean grill mesh in minutes and save your precious time.

Method 1: Salt and Tomato Sauce

You might think that tomato sauce can make it dirty but using salt can clean a roast’s grill trap. The sauce contains vinegar as one of its components which acts as a mild cleanser for it. At the same time, salt helps to clean the dirt. To use it, make a paste by mixing half a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of sauce. Apply the paste on the vessel and leave it for 10 minutes. Then take the mesh grill and mix it with dish wash gel or powder and leave it in hot water for five minutes. Remove the paste with a brush after the procedure, and it will be completely clean.

Method 2: Baking Soda

To make a paste, take two teaspoons of baking soda and one teaspoon of dish wash and add a little water to it. Apply the paste over the mesh and scrub with the help of a dishwasher. If you don’t have a scrubber, you can also use a microfiber cloth.

Method 3: Vinegar

Vinegar can be very effective in cleaning the trap. Mix one teaspoon of salt in half a cup of vinegar. Soak the mesh grill in the solution and leave it for 20 minutes. Clean the mesh after using the dishwasher.
