Surat: The city added one new Covid case in 24 hours which was reported in the district on Sunday.
Ahmedabad reported 15 new cases, the lowest in five days, while 34 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the city. Ahmedabad now has 139 active cases.
Gujarat 33 new cases were reported in 24 hours and 37 patients were discharged, taking the active cases to 214. Out of the total active cases, 2 were on ventilator. Other new cases include 10 cases of Vadodara Cityfrom 6 Gandhinagar City, and 1 happily. Out of 33 districts of Gujarat, 20 have zero active cases.
The state vaccinated 199 people for the first dose and 2,159 for the second in 24 hours. Altogether 5.39 crore are being given the first dose and 5.17 crore are being given the second dose of Kovid vaccine. Children in the age group of 12-14 years were given a total of 937 second doses, taking the total to 9.22 lakh. news network
