38% of users on Tinder want a trusted partner

The pandemic has changed the way people date, with dating app Tinder saying that nearly 38% of Gen Zs have revealed they are looking for someone who is trustworthy, and 36% someone with a sense of humor Wanting to have a relationship with Emotion, 12% are looking for someone who is “not an asshole”, and 14% are looking for a kinder date.

These insights are based on users’ Tinder bios between January and December 2020 and between January and December 2021 and are based on questions that members were asked within the app in December 2021.

On desirable traits, good intentions also top the list among singles in India. Using the least amount of plastic (39%) and even vegan (8%), 41% of members look for matches with the intention of healing the world.

Tinder members are already setting their aspirations for the new year. 49% disclosed they would be willing to travel again, while over 31% of members said they would sign up to join a gym. At least 15% of the members are willing to eat less junk food.

When asked what they are looking forward to in 2022, many members said they are looking for their partner-in-crime (35%), while others (20%) simply want to finish what they started. Has done or is even in the first target. place (25%), and 20% say they want to take more time for themselves in 2022.
