5 out of 10 most valuable firms added ₹1 lakh crore to m-cap; TCS, RIL gainers

Five of the 10 Most Valuable Companies Added 1,01,145.09 crore in their total market valuation last week, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries Ltd emerged as the major gainers.

While Reliance Industries Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Wipro were among the gainers, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finance and State Bank of India were among the laggards.

The BSE benchmark rose 112.57 points or 0.10 per cent during the last week. Market valuation of Tata Consultancy Services jumps 30,720.62 crore to reach 13,57,644.33 crores. Reliance Industries added 21,035.95 crore to evaluate it 16,04,154.56 crores.

Infosys valuation hiked 17,656.95 Cr to 7,83,779.99 crore and Hindustan Unilever Limited profited 16,000.71 Cr to 5,40,053.55 crore. Wipro’s market capitalization rises 15,730.86 crore from 3,82,857.25 crores. In contrast, HDFC Bank’s valuation dropped 18,619.95 Cr to 7,97,609.94 crores.

HDFC valuation falls 15,083.97 crore from 4,58,838.89 crore and State Bank of India declined 9,727.82 Cr to 4,07,720.88 crores.

Bajaj Finance market capitalization falls 3,048.15 Cr to 4,13,546.63 crore and by ICICI Bank 476.81 crore 5,05,070.33 crores. In the ranking of top-10 firms, Reliance Industries Ltd leads the chart followed by Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India and Wipro.
