5 pilgrims, pilot killed in helicopter crash near Kedarnath

A helicopter carrying pilgrims today crashed near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, killing six people, including a pilot.

Officials said the helicopter crashed near Garu Chatti, confirming that six bodies have been recovered so far.

The helicopter crashed just after take off from Kedarnath. Sources said that a total of seven people, including a pilot, were on board the helicopter.
