New Delhi: Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s portfolio is the most watched by retail investors as well as institutional investors, as several bets made by the ‘Big Bull’ of the Indian stock market have fetched him impressive returns. Investors always keep an eye on the stocks they add or deduct from their portfolio.
However, in the current year, some of his portfolio stocks have not performed well. In comparison, Sensex and Nifty have given returns of 22 and 24 per cent respectively.
Even though these stocks have either declined or traded flat in 2021, brokerage houses are still bullish on them, expecting great returns in the coming weeks. Here is a list of stocks from Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s portfolio that have not performed well in the current year:
Jubilant Farmova
Jubilant Firmova saw a decline of around 33 per cent this year. The stock is trading at around Rs 600 after a fall of around Rs 290 since its public launch earlier this year. Brokerage house ICICI Direct has set a long-term target of Rs 850 on the stock, while Motilal has set a target of Rs 960. At present, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala holds 6.3 percent stake in this company.
Multi Commodity Exchange of India
The Multi Commodity Exchange of India has declined by about 9% in 2021. The stock has lost around Rs 160 and is currently trading around Rs 1590. Brokerage house ICICI Securities has given a buy target of Rs 1890 in Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Portfolio stock. Big Bull owns a 4.9 percent stake in the company.
Rallis India
Rallis India remains flat in 2021, although the market has remained bullish recently. At present the stock is trading at around Rs 284. ICICI Direct has given a target of Rs 365 on Rallis India. Jhunjhunwala holds a 9.9 per cent stake in the firm.
Lupine Limited
Lupine Limited has lost 8% market capitalization in the current year. In the Indian stock markets, the stock is trading at Rs 920 with a fall of around Rs 80 in 2021. Brokerage house Emkay Global has a target of Rs 1300 while Sharekhan has a target of Rs 1,400 on the stock. Jhunjhunwala holds 1.6 per cent stake in Lupine Ltd. wockhardt
