The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.65 per cent. For the last 69 days, it is less than two per cent.

The weekly positivity rate was recorded at 0.70 per cent. According to the Ministry of Health, it has been below one percent for the last 28 days.

The number of people recovering from the disease rose to 34122795, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.37 per cent.

The cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign have exceeded 132.93 crore.

India’s COVID-19 tally had crossed 20 lakh mark on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23; 40 lakhs on 5th September and 50 lakhs on 16th September. It crossed 60 lakhs on 28 September; 70 lakhs on 11th October, crossed 80 lakhs on 29th October; 90 lakh on 20 November and crossed the crore mark on 19 December.
