9 lakh students will appear in inter board exam in Telangana. Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: With the commencement of Inter exams from Friday, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Examination (TSBIE) secretary Syed Umar Jaleel has urged students to reach the examination centers before 9 am.
While advising the students to reach the examination centers by 8.30 am, he said that no one will be allowed to reach the examination centers with a delay of even a minute.
Students will be allowed to enter the examination hall between 8.30 am to 9.00 am and some time will be required to complete the distribution of answer sheets and other formalities.
“At 9 in the morning, we will stop allowing any student to enter the hall. It is better if students reach earlier. We have made all the necessary arrangements for the examination and in view of the high summer temperature, we have asked a medical officer At every examination centre. They will have ORS packets and other medicines for any emergency.”
He said that RTC is running special buses to take the students to the examination centers on time. The examinations will be held from May 6 to May 23 from 9 am to 12 noon.
A total of 9.07 lakh students will appear in the inter board examination this year.
These include 4.55 lakh boys and 4.52 lakh girls. There are a total of 1443 examination centers in the state, out of which 230 are in Hyderabad. The results will be declared around June 24 while the advanced supplementary exam will be conducted a month after the result.
Also the number of buses before and after the exam has been almost doubled by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC).

TSBIE has also set up a control room which will function from May 5 to May 24 between 8 am to 8 pm.
