Hyderabad: 992 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Telangana on Wednesday, while the increase in new cases continued in 20 districts. The number of active cases stood at 6,132.
Of the new cases, 376 were reported in Hyderabad district alone, while 54 were reported in Medchal Malkajgiri and 65 in Ranga Reddy. Other districts seeing a rise in cases include Bhadradri, Kothagudem, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Pedapally and Hanumakonda.
The total recoveries stood at 8,12,420 with 852 being cured on Wednesday. At present the positivity rate is 2.4%, while the recovery rate is 98.75%. The death toll stands at 4,111, as no new deaths were recorded.
