Shares of specialty chemical maker Amy Organics and healthcare chain Vijaya Diagnostic Center opened in the stock market on Tuesday. Shares of Amy Organics are listed here ₹910 per share on NSE, 49% premium over issue price ₹610 while Vijaya Diagnostic started trading at ₹540 each, up 1.6% from the issue price ₹531.
Minutes after listing, Amy Organics slips 2% ₹878 while Vijaya Diagnostic continued to grow and increased ₹576 each on BSE.
NS Initial Public Offering (IPO) Specialty chemicals maker Amy Organics was subscribed 64.54 times, while Vijaya Diagnostic IPO was booked 4.54 times, due to strong response from non-institutional investors and Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category.
Amy Organics is one of the leading R&D driven manufacturers of specialty chemicals with various end uses as Pharma Intermediates for Regulated and Generic API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and NCE (New Chemical Unit) and Major Starting Materials for Agrochemicals. Focused towards development and manufacturing. and fine chemicals. Before its IPO, Amy Organics collected ₹171 crore from anchor investors.
Vijaya Diagnostic Center provides pathology and radiology testing services through 80 diagnostic centers and reference laboratories in 13 cities and towns in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as well as the National Capital Region and Kolkata. NS ₹The initial share sale of 1,895 crores was solely an offer for sale of 3,56,88,064 equity shares. The price range for the offer was ₹522-531 per share and the healthcare chain was up slightly ₹566 crore from anchor investors before its subscription opening.
