The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift has been offered in three variants – Zeta, Alpha and Alpha Plus.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift has gone on sale in India today and the company has announced to accept over 3600 bookings for its premium MPV so far. The carmaker started accepting pre-bookings for the new XL6 facelift on April 11 for a token amount of Rs 11,000 and was receiving an average of around 325 bookings per day. The new Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift has been launched in India in three variants – Zeta, Alpha and Alpha Plus, with ex-showroom prices starting from Rs 11.29 lakh to Rs 14.55 lakh.

In terms of looks, Maruti Suzuki has tried to keep things fresh courtesy a new radiator grille with revised mesh and an X-bar chrome strip running across its width. The front bumper is also now more angular and sports a chunky silver skid plate. The LED headlamp cluster has also been changed and while the overall profile remains unchanged, the new XL6 facelift gets a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels that fill the wheel wells more appropriately. It also gets slightly tweaked taillights at the rear.

On the inside, the biggest is seen in the tech and creation comfort department. It gets the new 7.0-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system with Connected Tech, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The touchscreen also supports 360-degree camera view which is a new feature in the XL6 facelift. Other additional features include new front row ventilated seats, wireless charging and a remote engine start/stop system to pre-cool the car. In terms of safety features, the new XL6 facelift will get four airbags, hill-hold assist and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as standard.

Under the hood, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift gets Maruti’s Smart Hybrid technology with an updated 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, K15C series, dual jet, dual VVT petrol engine. The powertrain churns out 103 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 137 Nm of peak torque at 4,400 rpm and is mated to a new six-speed torque converter with paddle shifters. A five-speed manual transmission remains standard on the new XL6. The claimed fuel economy is 20.97 kmpl for the manual transmission XL6 and 20.27 kmpl for the automatic version.
