Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management CEO A Balasubramaniam has been elected as the President of Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) in the board meeting of AMFI recently.
He has previously served as the President of AMFI for the period 2017 – 2019 and will now hold the position till the conclusion of the next AGM.
Edelweiss AMC CEO Radhika Gupta has been elected as the Vice President of AMFI.
A Balasubramaniam has also been appointed as the ex-officio Chairman of AMFI Financial Literacy Committee, who is the President of AMFI.
Nilesh Shah, Group Chairman and MD, Kotak Mutual Fund has been elected as the Chairman of the AMFI Appraisal Committee.
Radhika Gupta has been re-elected as the chairperson of the AMFI ETF committee.
Franklin Templeton AMC President Sanjay Sapre has been re-elected as the Chairman of the AMFI Steering and Compliance Committee.
IDFC AMC CEO Vishal Kapoor has been elected as the Chairman of the AMFI Standing Committee of Certified Distributors (ARN Committee).
These decisions were taken by the SEBI-registered mutual fund’s industry body AMFI in its board meeting on 18 October 2021.
