An earthly paradise of roses, hibiscus, chrysanthemum, marigold, jasmine, sunflower, lotus, dahlia and many other flowers

TeaThe garden on the roof of our house is not just a green space. It is truly an earthly paradise of flowers like roses, hibiscus, chrysanthemum, marigold, jasmine, sunflower, lotus, dahlia and many more. My wife, a green thumb, grows all the plants in the garden, nurtures them for several hours and keeps them healthy, away from pest attack. Of course, I help her with the gardening.

In the morning, I sit in my garden, the rays of the sun playing on my person and the cool breeze caressing me, watching the flocks of butterflies in bloom and listening to the music of the birds rustling from the trees and the rustle of the leaves of the trees. I feel refreshed, happy and peaceful.

Not just plants and flowers that I see in my garden. Interesting visitors. A squirrel approaches a guava tree and nibbles on a fruit, squeaks, its bushy tail rises and falls and its beaded eyes roll awkwardly. A pair of birds descends on the compound wall and picks up some grains; They continue in their springy walks along the compound wall and find their way into the garden and among the plants.

Even in the evening, I seek my blessed place of rest, happiness and peace in my garden. The endlessly stretched sky above forms a wonderful umbrella with its clouds, dark and silver gliding gently.

The evening sun is a picturesque sight. Flocks of birds are returning home to their nests. When the evening sky is getting dark, many stars, one by one, twinkle, twinkle, twinkle, with the moon illuminating the entire sky.

During the first and second wave of COVID-19, I closed my constitution in the Municipal Park, and made several rounds to the Terrace Garden. Sitting there and looking at the endless panorama of such wondrous, beautiful and enticing spectacles, I feel that I am closer to mother nature, though living in a city, and gather many hours of immense happiness and immense peace.
