Laxman Moleti’s Animal Water Bowl Project (AWBP) addresses the need to provide clean drinking water for birds and animals throughout the year. The animal lover’s concern for the birds and animals on the streets during the summer brought him along with the Water Bowl Project.

Laxman says, “Rapid urbanization has become a dangerous problem for the animals. Adverse effects can also be seen in rural and forest areas. As an animal welfare group, the AWBP Trust wanted the song to create awareness about the impact of urbanization on animals. The song is backed with videos of animals in urban areas and continuously suffering due to lack of safe water and food. ,

Lakshmana says, “Water is a basic necessity for living beings; It is an important food for animals and birds. In animals, lack of drinking water leads to health challenges such as dehydration, skin infections, fever and viral infections. Through the song, we highlight the plight of these animals with the hope that everyone will show compassion towards the animals. ,

While Laxman wrote the song in Telugu and then got it translated into Hindi. The songs are sung by Shreyas Dharmadhikari and Vignesh ji. Instrumental backing is given by TV Sukanya on violin, Sivaramakrishna KR on kanjira and Ashish Venkateswaran on flute.
