Aangan Reloaded Serving Indian Cuisine That Will Keep Your Winter Blues Away

What’s your idea of the perfect lunch or dinner? If you want good food with soothing music, interesting cocktails and a moonlit dining area where you can relax with friends and family, then visit Courtyard Reloaded which serves some of the best Indian cuisine. Stylishly seated on the lawn of the Hyatt Regency, Courtyard Reloaded is an elegant al-fresco dining space with a live kitchen in the center. The restaurant’s menu was selected after extensive research. From Desi Dal Makhani to Murgh Tikka Makhani, Prawn Lapata to Baingan Ka Bharta, and a huge range of appetizers – the menu was put together keeping in mind the demographics and taste buds of food lovers.

Head Chef Anil Khurana said, “Since the people of Delhi love Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken, we ensure that our guests are served with the best of the taste of the two popular dishes. We aim to serve our guests exactly that. They source their ingredients from different parts of the country to taste and feel as if they were dining at local/regional places.”

My meal at Aangan Reloaded began with delectable-bouquets – gol gappas filled with spicy potato filling and pungent water. The first two dishes we tasted were Hara Bhara Kebab and Murgh Tikka – both the kebabs were quite scrumptious and the food was the perfect way to start the campaign. Next was Chaap Tazdar and Lahsuni Jhinga. Chaap pieces marinated in curd with spices rejuvenate our taste buds. Lahsuni Jhenga was an interesting dish – if you like prawns, I would say go ahead and give it a try. For those who prefer more kebabs to their table before moving on to the main course, we recommend that you try their Corn Kebabs, Kesari Paneer Tikka and Fish Amritsari.

For the main course, I chose a few classics like Nalli Nihari, Murgh Khurchan, Baingan Bharta Amritsari, Murg Tikka Makhani, Paneer Labdar and Dal Makhani. All these dishes are perfect for those who love typical North Indian cuisine. Out of all these main dishes, Dal Makhani, Baingan Bharta Amritsari and Murg Tikka Makhani stood out and were the stellar dishes.

If you go to the patio, there’s no way you can skip their sweets. Their dessert menu included mouth-watering Phirni, Kesari Rasmalai, Mango Kulfi, Anjeer Kulfi, Kesari Kulfi etc. I chose Phirbi and Kesari Rasmalai. And it was worth a try as the creamy chhena dipped in kesari flavored milk was absolutely delightful.
