Panaji: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has called upon the voters of Other Backward Classes (OBCs) to boycott the upcoming panchayat elections on the ground that the government has failed to reserve seats for them.
AAP’s Goa unit president Amit Palekar Called upon the ministers of the BJP government belonging to OBCs to resign if their government has failed to provide justice for the OBCs they have self-respect. “We should unite to fight for the rights of OBCs and against the selfish intentions of the BJP government,” Palekar said.
He said that the BJP government was scared of the mandate of Panchayat elections and hence was looking for reasons to postpone the elections. news network
