‘AAP’ is ‘antidote’ for BJP: Arvind Kejriwal in Gujarat

Demonstrating Aam Aadmi Party’s expansion in post-poll Gujarat, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal held a roadshow in Mehsana district on Monday.

Terming the AAP as the “only antidote” to the BJP, Mr Kejriwal addressed the people and hit out at the ruling BJP in the state and said, “People are afraid to speak anything against the BJP.

People said that if they speak anything against BJP they are threatened and beaten up. There is no need to fear because Gujarat is about to change.”

Assembly elections are due in Gujarat later this year.

During his day-long visit to the western state, where the party is hoping to spread its wings after its thumping victory in Punjab, Mr Kejriwal said, “AAP is the only antidote to the BJP.

Earlier in the day, Mr Kejriwal called the BJP a “genocide of Kashmiri Pandits” for the recent incidents of ‘targeted killings’ in Kashmir.

“The genocide that is happening with Kashmiri Pandits is not right. In the last 30 years, Kashmiri Pandits had to migrate twice and both happened when the BJP was in power. I will appeal to the government to take whatever steps are needed. and provide them with security,” he said.

Notably, Mr Kejriwal on Sunday hit out at the Center over the ‘targeted killings’ of Kashmiri Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir and said that Kashmiri Pandits are being “forced” to leave their homes, while asserting that “BJP is unable to handle Kashmir”.

Addressing Aam Aadmi Party’s Jan Aakrosh rally at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, Kejriwal said, “Kashmir was ours, ours is and will remain. Kashmiri Pandits were being forced to leave their homes, which happened in the 1990s.” was. “
