AAP will establish full organization in Maharashtra, will contest all elections: Gopal Italia

Italia said AAP has formed the government in Punjab and polled over 40 lakh votes in the recently held Gujarat assembly elections, securing 13 per cent vote share.

Party leader Gopal Italia on Monday said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will set up a full-fledged organization and contest “all small and big elections” in Maharashtra.

Its Maharashtra unit chief Preeti Sharma Menon said the Arvind Kejriwal-led organization will contest the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections with full force.

Menon said education, health, electricity, water, roads and sanitation would be the main issues on which AAP would contest the civic polls in the metropolis.

The party’s national joint secretary and Maharashtra in-charge Italia said, “Under the guidance of Arvind Kejriwal, a full-fledged party organization will be established in Maharashtra and we will fight all big and small elections in the state with full force.”

He claimed that no other party was serious about solving the problems of Mumbaikars, adding that people now have an alternative in the form of AAP.

AAP also ousted the Bharatiya Janata Party from the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, where it had been in power for many years.

He said that with these victories, AAP has created a wave of new hope and new hopes across the country.

“There are many parties and many leaders in Maharashtra but no one is working for its citizens. People are left at the mercy of God and are helpless,” Italia claimed.
