AAP’s Punjab CM Face Mann says people will respond to Kumar Vishwas’ allegation by voting for ‘broom’

As Punjab went to the polls in one-phase assembly elections today, Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial candidate and two-time Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann ruled out any possibility of a hung assembly, saying AAP will be in 117 assembly constituencies. “Over 80 seats” will win. ,

As he went to a gurdwara in Mohali before casting his vote, after which he went to Dhuri, from where he is contesting elections, News18 spoke to Mann in Ranike village after offering prayers at the Rankeshwar Mahadev temple.

Mann also alleged that former AAP member Kumar Vishwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have all come together as they are “desperate” and afraid of losing the election this time.

Vishwas has accused Arvind Kejriwal of supporting separatists during the Punjab election campaign but the AAP national convener has denied the allegations.

You have been visiting many places since morning. what have you picked up?

it is going well. By 5 pm, there should be more than 50 percent voting and in some booths more than 60 percent. It means people are voting for change.

You said people are voting for change. Are you ready for a hung assembly situation in Punjab, you may not get absolute majority?

No, I am not preparing for a hung assembly at all. AAP will win more than 80 seats, that is my hope. This is your question.

People have expectations from you. People reached Chamkaur Sahib rally late in the night and said that they said that they want job and want to get rid of drugs. Does the weight of expectations scare you?

You said that there could be a hung assembly. Then you are asking that if I become the Chief Minister then how will I fulfill (expectations)? So it will not be a hung assembly. You are saying it. If people in Chamkaur Sahib are saying this, then we will fulfill all their expectations.

Doesn’t the burden of expectations seem heavy?

Why should it feel heavy? People have expectations from me. People have given me responsibility. My courage to do well will only double.

What do you think the statements of Kumar Vishwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will have on the voters?

Look, Kumar Vishwas, Prime Minister Rahul Gandhi, Charanjit Singh Channi have all come together. What crime have we committed? What have we done to Punjab? What damage have we done to Punjab? This is just a sign of their desperation and fear of losing. ‘The anger is theirs, the anger of everyone’.

What is your reaction to his allegations?

People will answer (them). Today he is answering those allegations. People are responding to those allegations by pressing the button of ‘broom’.

How many seats do you expect to get on March 10?

Please ask me on March 10th.
