ABB India will strengthen the ongoing merit-cum-need-based undergraduate engineering scholarship program for girls who are pursuing education and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The company will increase the number of these scholarships set up in partnership with Leela Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) from 100 to 200 over the next three years. Scholarships will be given to meritorious girls from economically challenged backgrounds pursuing STEM degrees and careers in Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad.

ABB India staff will voluntarily provide technical training to select students in the areas of Cyber ​​Security, Data Analytics, Industry 4.0, Leadership Talk, Design Thinking and Digital Marketing. Over 1200 hours of virtual technical training has been given by subject experts of ABB in the last one year so far.
