LONDON: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, wishes Pakistan’s new leader success in leading his country to further progress and prosperity,” the official WAM news agency reported on Saturday.
He was speaking during his meeting with Shahbaz Sharif during his visit to UAE.
Sharif became prime minister on 11 April.
Sheikh Mohamed praised the historic ties between the two countries and the “valuable contribution made by the Pakistani community in the UAE to the country’s successful development campaign”.
He also promised the UAE’s support for all steps to achieve regional and international peace and cooperation.
Sharif appreciated Pakistan’s great support to the UAE and stressed its eagerness to strengthen ties with the emirate in various fields.
The two leaders also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
