The official Twitter account of The Academy, which recognizes excellence in the cinematic arts and sciences, shared a video compilation of snippets from ‘Forrest Gump’ and the Aamir Khan-starrer. A tweet from the Academy called the Bollywood film a “believable Indian adaptation”.

The Academy’s Twitter handle also mentions the number of Oscar nominations for Forrest Gump.
