US actor Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phippers narrowly escaped after their truck was shot in a road rage incident in Los Angeles on Monday.
As per reports, the couple was heading to a studio for the shoot. As he was about to park his truck, a man behind him became irritated and started shouting. Although Aaron let the man go ahead, he opened fire on them.
tmz Told that Denise was shaken from the shoot and reached the sets crying. Crew members who inspected the truck found a bullet hole after which they called the authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department has said that the matter is being investigated.
Known for starring in films such as Dennis Starship Troopers (1997) and wild Things (1998), and for the James Bond film the world is Not Enough (1999). The actor married Aaron in 2018 in Malibu.
