Bollywood actor Sunny Leone’s picture was printed on the exam hall ticket of a candidate who appeared for the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (TET-2022) held on November 6.
After the screenshot of the admit card went viral, the education department has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
The disturbance at Rudrappa College came to light after a candidate presented his hall ticket with the actress’s photograph, following which the institution’s principal lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police.
According to the police, there must have been an error while uploading the photo while filing and submitting the online application.
The candidate stated that he did not fill the online application but asked others to do so on his behalf.
The education department said in a statement that the candidates will have to fill the online application for which a user ID and password have been generated, which is unique to the candidate and no one else can interfere in it.
The department said that it has no role in making the exam hall ticket as it is to be done by the candidates only.
In its clarification, the Public Instruction Department said, “The department has no role in whatever media is reporting on this issue. Still, we request the police to investigate the matter and initiate action against those responsible for the incident.” has done.”
