Ad-free Twitter will require more subscriptions: Elon Musk

Elon Musk announced that the company’s subscription service would feature less advertising.

Washington:

Twitter-free Elon Musk announced in a series of tweets on Saturday that the company’s subscription service will show Facebook fewer ads, including ad-tiers. Let us tell you that after the acquisition of the social network Twitter by Musk in October, it faced a big financial crisis. This decision is related to this.

Musk posted on his Twitter account on Saturday, “Ads are too many and too big on Twitter. Going to measure both in the coming week.” And for those who accept, there will be “a high-priced subscription that allows zero ads,” Musk said in another tweet. This would be a radical change in Twitter’s business model, which until now has relied on advertising to generate revenue.

This service costs $11 per month in the US

Late last year, Musk laid off some of the company’s 7,500 employees. The move sparked concerns that the company had staff stalled for content control. Musk said that his strategy revenue largely outweighed costs. A new subscription service called Twitter Blue helps reach that goal. The service costs $11 per month in the United States and is available on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android mobile operating systems, according to a page on the company’s website. Web subscriptions are also available for $8 per month or, with projects, $84 per year.

Twitter Blue is currently available in these countries

Radio Blue is currently available in USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia and Japan. A massive Twitter pulldown led by Musk, the withdrawal of restricted documents and the suspension of paparazzi critical of the billionaire in South Africa has sparked chaos. There was also a change in the shock or tweets after Musk’s agreement.
