It is alleged that before the 2024 assembly elections, the exercise of uniting the opposition parties is going on at many levels in the country. The outgoing Kumar from Bihar had called for unity with the Rashtriya Janata Dal and other partners to form the new government in Bihar, breaking ties with the BJP and the NDA.

After Thackeray lost power in Maharashtra and Maha Vikas Aghadi government fell, the parties involved in this alliance are also talking about unity against BJP. Apart from the Congress, the Thackeray faction of the BJP, part of the Mahavikas Aghadi, and the NCP are also talking about the mobilization of the opponents against the BJP.

The visit of Aditya Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) and son of Vader, to Bihar is being seen as an attempt to unite.
