Kabul : torkham cross border point that connects Afghanistan And Pakistan has been reopened and those with travel documents can cross it, abdul kahr balkhi, for spokesperson foreign Ministry, said.
“Torkham Gate has been reopened and those Afghans having passports and visas from Pakistan can cross the border,” Balkhi said in his Twitter account.
The reopening of Torkham Crossing Point has been announced in view of the visit of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. shah mahmud Qureshi who visited Kabul on Thursday.
According to local media reports, matters of mutual interest including reopening of border points and enhancing trade and economic cooperation came up for discussion during Qureshi’s one-day visit to Afghanistan’s capital Kabul and his meetings with officials here.
