New Delhi: The results of the first edition of Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG were declared on Friday, officials of the National Testing Agency (NTA) said.

The results were supposed to be declared at 10 pm on Thursday, however, the NTA informed after midnight that there would be a delay citing a huge database.

“The merit list will be prepared by the participating universities who will decide about their individual counseling on the basis of CUET-UG score card,” said NTA Senior Director (Exam) Sadhna Parashar.

The first edition of CUET-UG, the gateway for undergraduate admissions, began in July and ended on August 30.

60% attendance was recorded in the exam. -PTI
