After Harsha Bhogle’s tweet, fan demands to ‘boycott Uber’

As Harsha Bhogle shared her experience, many of her followers echoed similar sentiments.

Harsha Bhogle, a veteran cricket commentator from India who is known in the world as the “Voice of Cricket”, posted a message on Twitter about his recent experience with taxi-hailing app Uber India.

Mr Bhogle, 61, claimed in a series of tweets on Thursday that despite his best efforts to avoid venturing out on social media, he was left with no option due to Uber India’s “apathy and apathy”.

The commentator narrated how she had pre-booked an Uber cab that never arrived and how, when it happened, was not a memorable experience for her.

Mr Bhogle said an Uber driver casually informed him that he would never go over a pre-booked one when he was sharing his experience on Twitter.

He further claimed that he tried to contact Uber and sent “several DMs”, but he only received “poorly worded” replies.

“Try not to brag on Twitter as far as possible, but the apathy and apathy of @Uber_India and @UberINSupport left me with no choice. Sent several DMs and got a reply that would show them in a bad light. I’m still waiting for them to solve my problem. So please support me.”

Harsha Bhogle in his next tweet criticized Uber India, claiming that his pre-booked taxi never showed up and when he requested another ride, one of Uber’s drivers informed him that they were ” Never go over a booking already booked.”

His tweet became popular and a follower asked if Mr. Bhogle would boycott the app. But the commentator replied that he would not.

He expressed displeasure over not getting any response from Uber team in his last tweet, “Still no response from @UberINSupport @uber. Not even on DMs,” he said.
