“I had booked a ticket in Visakha Express for Secunderabad a week ago to join an operator’s job in an infrastructure company, but the train was canceled on Saturday. I did not expect that this Agneepath protest would force the Railways to cancel trains. I don’t know how the employer will react after intimating my train cancellation. Since this was an urgent requirement for the company, he can take a local youth from there,” said Sanatan Bisoyik from Ganjam.
Official sources said that 18 out of 30 trains are running from different stations of ECoR. Some of the popular trains were Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express, Puri-Patna Express, Puri-Ajmer Express, Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi Express, Puri-Anand Vihar Nandankanan Express and Puri-New Delhi Purushottam.
