Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday launched the Tamil service of OTT platform Aha.
The platform, its promoters said, will have 100% Tamil content and will have several original films, web series and reality shows in the pipeline to release in the coming months.
In his address, Mr Stalin stressed on the importance of entertainment platforms providing local content and said that it is important to connect with the local audience. “Aha Tamil will exclusively have only Tamil content which we have developed with creators across the state.
Many young writers have many interesting things to say and we are excited to be working with them,” said Aahh promoter Allu Aravind.
Among the original content that is on Aaha’s Tamil slate is the upcoming film euphoric Starring Priyamani and directed by Vetrimaaran pettakalai,
The platform will acquire movies that have been or will be released in theaters like GV Prakash Kumar starrer selfieAshok Selvan Starrer Manmadha Leelaimore upcoming movie Sardar Starring Karthi.

Actor Silambarasan and music composer Anirudh Ravichander were announced as the brand ambassadors of Aha Tamil.
