Ahmedabad: Krishnanagar Police On Tuesday, a case was registered against a boy for molesting a girl of his class. Both are around 14 years old.
The boy allegedly used to blackmail her to have sex.
Krishnanagar police inspector AJ Chauhan said the girl’s parents have said that the boy molested her on several occasions. A complaint of molestation has been registered against the boy and the provisions of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act have also been invoked. The complainant girl’s father said that on Monday night she had gone to study with the boy and when she returned after sometime, he revealed that the boy had molested her. The girl’s mother who went to work came back to her home.
According to the complaint, the girl told her parents that the boy initially pressurized her to talk. She said that he gave her a social media ID and password and asked her to chat with him using that ID. When the girl refused to do so, he threatened to defame her.
According to the complaint, the girl died on the demand of the boy and started talking to him. Later, the girl said, he started asking her to have sex. He said he put his foot down and refused. When the two started studying together, the boy again threatened to defame her.
The girl told her parents that the boy molested her on several occasions when they started studying together.
On Monday night, the girl again went to the boy’s house to study. He told his parents that at that time the boy’s father and his Grandpa was in his bedroom. He said that when he and the boy studied in the hall, he molested her again. After returning home, he spoke to his father and his parents decided to file a police complaint.
