AICTE, Khadi offer internship for college students, stipend Rs 5,000

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) The college has collaborated with Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) to provide internships to the students. KVIC will pay Rs 5000 per month to each selected student for internship.

The program is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Interested and eligible candidates can contact to KVIC state or divisional offices to register themselves. Thereafter, AICTE and Commission select the students who will get to work in different departments of their interest.

“For internship opportunities, students can approach KVIC state/divisional offices and on getting selected they will get a chance to work in different departments of their interest. In addition, internship opportunities with KVIC will also be uploaded on the AICTE Internship Portal. Under the programme, students will also be given a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month during the internship period,” reads the official notice.

We talk about Atmanirbhar Bharat and it will become truly Atmanirbhar when all Villages, Talukas, Districts and States will become self-reliant. That’s why Gandhiji always talked about Gram Swaraj. Today India is a huge country in ITES industry. Now it’s time to make sure that we help villages through ITES How can we do this and make them more self-reliant and promote entrepreneurship,” said Professor Anil D Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman, AICTE.

KVIC President Vinay Kumar Saxena said that the internship program will help the students to gain valuable experience through challenging projects. “KVIC has a lot of platforms through which students can connect. I would urge all the faculty members and students to work towards the upliftment of the country through several schemes being run by KVIC across the country. KVIC has always taken challenging initiatives. I would urge the students to not think too much about being a job taker but believe in becoming a job creator through their entrepreneurial skills.”
