Air India trying to fly into the future with mega deal with Airbus-Boeing

Boeing and Air India have reached an agreement under which Air India will buy 220 aircraft from Boeing for $34 billion, according to an announcement by the US President’s Office ‘White House’. These include 190 B737 Max, 20 B787 and 10 B777X. There will be an option to buy 70 more aircraft under the agreement.

From which company will Air India buy what?
Air India will buy aircraft 737 MAXs from Boeing Airplanes. This includes the 737-8 and 737-10. We will reach this deal with 20 787-9 aircraft. 10 aircraft will be of 777-9. Apart from this, Air India is making its fleet very attractive through 70 more Boeing jet aircraft.

Rolls-Royce has also informed about the deal that Trent’s XWB-97 engines (68+20 option) will arrive through this huge aircraft order. These will be used for the Airbus A350-1000. Apart from this, 2 Trent XWB-84 engines will also be seen. Which are used in A350-900.

Boeing Airplanes has also tweeted about the deal and Air India has welcomed. Air India will buy 10 Boeing airplanes 777-9 and through this India will be connected to almost every destination in the world.

85 billion dollar deal
Tatsuns will spend 85 billion dollars i.e. around Rs 70,39,86,15,00,00 for this deal. This deal is being described as the biggest deal in the aviation industry so far. America, Britain, France are included in this deal.
