A video of a plane surviving a crash is going viral on the internet. Based on reports, a Belgian pilot survived a plane crash in his small plane thanks to a small parachute. The pilot’s life was in danger when a sudden turn occurred, causing his plane to dive straight to the ground after a mid-air emergency. The video of the incident was shared by Viral Hog on the social media platform.
In the video, a small plane hanging from a white and red parachute is seen swinging due to the wind. At the beginning of the video, the descent seems slow, but as the video progresses, the speed of the aircraft appears to increase while the aircraft nears the end of its dive. Also, by the end of the video, the plane hits the ground with a loud crash. Based on the video, the plane’s propeller first touches the ground on the side of a road. The plane crashed right in front of a van, causing the vehicle to disappear slightly and some of the power line wires.
Bruges police said the two-seater plane caused minor damage to a street sign and a fence in the area, according to Sky News. The pilot was also able to get off the plane and is currently being treated for minor injuries.

The pilot was described by officials as an experienced pilot. He revealed that the ballistic recovery system (BRS) of the plane that launched the parachute almost certainly saved his life. Now, the aviation authorities have started an investigation into the incident to find out the cause of the accident. It should be noted that based on reports, the aircraft involved in the incident is the Dynaero MCRO 1, a light aircraft known to have a carbon-fibre body and seating for two people.
