Aishwarya R Dhanush is all set to take up the role of director after a gap of six years. 3 The next project of the film director will be a Telugu film. Reportedly, the story will be written by Sanjeev. Produced by Subhaskaran and Mahaveer Jain of Lyca Productions, the film is a family entertainer. The cast and crew of this untitled Telugu film are yet to be finalised. An official statement has not been issued yet.
Aishwarya recently made headlines when she was seen traveling to the US along with her father superstar Rajinikanth for a health check-up. Earlier this year, pictures of the father and daughter exiting the Mayo Clinic went viral on social media. After a few weeks in the US, Aishwarya moved back to India with her family.
The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of Lyca Productions. The tweet read, “Producers #Subhaskaran & #MahaVeerJain of Lyca Production have signed @ash_r_dhanush to direct a bilingual thriller written by #Sanjeev. This family entertainer will be presented by Lyca Productions. #aishwarya_r_dhanush #aashishsingh (sic) ).”
Coming back after a hiatus of six years, Aishwarya is best known for films like Vai Raja Vai, Veeran and 3, which also marked her debut.
