Aishwarya Rai Bachchanwho is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan: I, Recently disclosed his daughter in a press conference Aaradhya BachchanExperience on film sets. Calling it a “lovely memory” of her daughter, she said that Aaradhya was mesmerized when director Mani Ratnam gave her a chance to call it “action”. The actress added, “Aaradhya hasn’t seen the film yet, but at the time, she was definitely thrilled. There are many (referring to her co-stars) who have kids, and watching a period drama was always exciting. He did get the opportunity to visit the sets, and it was mesmerizing for him. I could see the look in his eyes,” according to news agency PTI.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan continued, “She (Aaradhya) respects him (Mani Ratnam), and she is in awe of him. And his affection is so sweet. I think he got the most excited when one day he was on the sets. She came and gave them an opportunity to say ‘action'”. She could not recover from it. She was like, ‘Sir gave me a chance to say this.’ So this is probably the most cherished memory. It’s really precious, and she values it already. I think, in the years of growing up, it will be a very cherished memory.”
The press conference took place in Mumbai, which was attended by Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Trisha. The film is based on the popular historical novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy. Ponniyin Selvan (Son of Ponni), Produced by Lyca Productions, the first part of the film will release on September 30 in five regional languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
